How is it back to school season already?! 🤪 Anyways, I thought today I'd share some fun, easy and inexpensive ideas for styling your office, work desk, or dorm room workspace in a modern farmhouse style!

DIY Farmhouse Office Decor + New Printables

For these DIY office decor ideas, I was aiming for a chic, grown up vibe à la Joanna Gaines.  So there are lots of mat black details, earthy tones, with a little wood thrown in for good measure.

Apart from the paint and supplies like nautical rope, most of the materials for these projects were either from thrift stores, bought quite a few years ago, or literally junk that I have picked up from somewhere.

Therefore, these DIY decor projects turned out quite inexpensive as well, which is always a bonus in my book! 

DIY Farmhouse Memo Board and Command Station

For my DIY farmhouse memo board and command station, I used supplies that I already had in my garage. They'd been sitting there gathering dust, for literally years!

It turned out super fun, and my daughter even said that it looked like something you buy in the stores, so I guess that's a good thing? 

This memo board would be ideal to help keep you get organized with shopping lists, to do lists, after school activities or anything else you like. It's currently sitting in my kitchen and my family uses it all the time!
